A case where insurance payout was $10,000,000 if the victim suffered, even just for a fraction of a second. However, if death was instant then the payout was only $1,000,000. By working with explosive and biomechanical experts from UC Berkeley, we showed what caused the explosion and that the victim suffered prior to explosion. Once the animation was exchanged the case settled out of court for very close to the full amount.
